When I started my business, I knew I wanted to reach as many people as I could. It’s always been about providing people with information and inspiration on how to look and feel their best.

While I may not know everything about fashion, I have learned a lot along the way, and I can confidently say, I know when there is a need. I knew their was a need for fun fashion, extended sizes, and ultimately, more options for men. Sourcing men’s clothing has been the biggest challenge thus far, and my probably my favorite challenge!

Buying always starts with research for me. I look at trend forecasts, fashion shows, magazines, etc. At times, this is very helpful, other times, I use my judgement and decide what’s missing and begin the search from there. I search styles, keywords, fabrics, and colors until I’ve found exactly what I’m looking for, or until I know I need to give designers more time to develop the styles/catch up to the trends.

Men’s fashion as I know it is very simplistic. But I am using the same motto that I use for women- the goal is to look stylish and feel confident. In doing so, you may take chances on clothing you “wouldn’t normally wear” or outfits that you “wouldn’t have thought to put together”.

So… after almost 1 year of business, RS Men was born! I enjoy spending my time searching for the best pieces for women and men! My goal in the near future is to offer clothing options that are designed to be worn by both women and men (think gender neutral). Ultimately, I want to continue to help the community find the joy in getting dressed up no matter who you are!
